A tailoring centre was set up by the Payyanadu family for the upliftment of the marginalised at Kondackal. The members longed that this institute be under the control of a religious congregation, and that is how it reached us. This was later on converted into a convent on 26th May 1974 and it was named in memory of the late Rev. Dr. Sr. Lisieux MSJ of Payyanadu family. This is situated in Alappuzha district. A homeo dispensary which was also functioning at that time got converted into Assissi Balika Bhavan which is a memorial of the centenary year of FCC. At present a tailoring-cum-computer centre approved by the government is functioning there. The sisters teach in the school, take care of the children, look after the tailoring centre and are also engaged in the pastoral activities of the parish.
