A new branch of FCC began functioning at Cheruvandoor in 1979 in the district of Kottayam. The sisters are engaged in the apostolate of teaching in U.P. School and Nursery. There is also a beautiful Kids' Park attached to the nursery. Sisters have been visiting the families of the parish and doing all kinds of charity works especially to the poor and downtrodden. They also provide counselling services and work in Sunday School. The silver jubilee of the convent was celebrated in November 2004.
