Located in the district of Pathanamthitta, Assisi Centre, Chunkappara - School for the  differently abled children came into existence on  October 4, 2000 - the Great Jubilee Year of the Lord. This is a non-residential school specially meant for the differently abled children. Along with the establishment of the school, a convent was also set up as it was the long cherished desire of the parishioners here. Children from the age of four from all walks of life are studying here. These children are treated with much love and care and in order to make themselves self-reliant, they are given vocational training. Through orientation classes, the parents are made aware to consider these children as a boon to their families. Joining with Changanacherry Archdiocese Social Service Society, beautician course and tailoring classes are conducted here for the mothers of the children and other ladies. The sisters apart from teaching, involve themselves in various apostolic works of the parish.
