Immaculate Conception Convent came into being in Kudamaloor - a place of great historical importance, it being the head quarters of the royal Chempakassery family. This is situated in Kottayam District .The vicar and the parishioners highly desired to have a Clarist Convent to provide elementary education to the people. The sisters teach in the school and are actively engaged in all the pastoral activities of the parish, thus witnessing the Gospel.
